Our Purpose
Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraise. Here are a few programs that we sponsor and/or support: Family Fun Night, Bulldog Jog, Reading Night, Pastries for Parents, Ice Cream Social, and Science Night/Geography Night, to name just a few. Behind the scenes we also provide teacher grants, prepare meals for teachers throughout conferences, host staff appreciation events, provide volunteers for school events/projects and work with outside groups, such as Kiwanis, to provide community events like Punt, Pass and Kick.
Become a Volunteer….Why YOU should get involved!
As you can see, we are a small and busy group. This is where you can come in! We need your help, and so do your children. A special thanks to all of our volunteers from last year for their hard work and dedication to our mission. Here in Chelsea, we strive for excellence and what better way than to become involved today. We are in need of growth and are seeking volunteers to continue the important work we do in the schools and community. The PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. There is something for everyone no matter what your schedule allows. If you are unable to attend the first meeting, please feel free to contact the board to see how you can help at pto.chelsea@gmail.com. Here are some of the PTO Volunteer Opportunities:
