Classes for Community Members and Laypersons 

Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED
The American Heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED Course covers First Aid basics, and First Aid actions for common Medical, Injury, and Environmental emergencies.  It also teaches the basic t
echniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Child and Infant CPR/AED may be taught if students live or work in a setting where children and infants are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking in the responsive victim. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of 3 major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking.

Heartsaver CPR & AED

The Heartsaver CPR/AED Course is a modular CPR course that teaches rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking in adult, child, and infant victims.  This program teaches rescue breaths with and without the use of barrier devices. This course covers AED and relief of choking in the adult, child, and infant.

Classes for Healthcare Providers 

This official American Heart Association BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers course satisfies both the INITIAL and RENEWAL certification requirements. The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED on adults and children, and relief of choking in responsive and nonresponsive victims. The course is designed for healthcare providers who care for patients both in and out of hospital.

Cancellation Policy.
If a student is unable to attend their registered course date they MUST contact the Cascade Training Center 48-hours prior to the course start time to transfer their registration to another date. You can reach training center staff anytime by calling (877) 277-6778.

Textbooks and Pre-Course Materials.
Textbooks are available for purchase during the registration process. All students are required to have the most current version the AHA curriculum-specific provider manual with them in class.
