Volunteers Needed for End of Year Testing

It is almost end of year testing time again at Smith, and we need your help proctoring for tests.  Proctoring a test involves attending one training session at 8am on the day of your first proctoring slot and coming to watch a classroom of students take a test.  If you are interested in signing up for a proctoring time, please click the link below to access the Sign-up Google Form.  The form will ask you to sign up for time blocks from 8am - 12pm on various testing days; however, many times the students will finish early.  We need a large number of proctors for testing (about 30 per day for EOGs and 15 per day for NCFEs), so we greatly appreciate your time and help.

PTSA Fundraising

Don’t throw away that free money!! Smith PTSA can earn money for many purchases you make every day.
  • Re-link Your Vic Card at Harris Teeter. Tell your cashier to link you to #4620 or to RD and Euzelle Smith Middle School. You may link multiple schools to your card, but you must re-link every year beginning in August. Don't forget to check your store receipt to see if you are linked to Smith.
  • Clip Boxtops. Yes, we collect them! Send in to your child’s homeroom teacher or drop them in the Boxtops for Education Box in the front office before the end of each semester. Last year we earned over $700!
  • Buy groceries at Weaver Street Market with a School Script card (gift card). Smith cards are #247 These cards can be purchased for any amount and are refillable. Smith will receive 5% of the amount of your purchases.
  • Click Start your shopping on the Smith PTSA webpage before you shop, or bookmark the link directly ( It costs you nothing, and earns us 1% on every purchase.
  • Charge purchases at Target? Designate Smith as your school for your Target REDcard (credit or debit) & Target will donate 1% of your purchases to Smith! Link your card today at (Target’s Take Charge of Education program).

Thank you! These small actions make a big difference !
