Pumpkin Shootout posted July 21, 2015

The Pumpkin Shootout has released its date for this year, October 18, and will begin registration in a couple of weeks.  I would like for us to enter two teams again this year, a Varsity and JV team.  If you are interested in participating please email me as soon as possible, as rosters are limited to 15 players each.  I have not seen any costs yet, but last year I believe the cost was $35 plus the cost of a team pinnie, so please budget for that if you choose to sign up.  If you are interested, email me and include your (player) name, email and phone number.

Required Forms posted June 29, 2015

The required forms for the 2016 season are now available on the "Required Forms" page of this website.  Please note that there are 4 forms this year, and that all of the forms are revised.  Please do not use old forms or you will have to re-submit them.  Any completed forms should be put in John Shearer's mailbox in the front office, not slid under his door or in the training room.  Let me know if you have any questions or if you want me to check your eligibility.

Fall Ball Opportunities
posted August 19, 2014
I want to let you know about some opportunities to play lacrosse this fall. I strongly encourage every player in our program to participate in fall ball. Every year we have a strong turnout for the fall season.  The programs have become more and more popular, and more competitive, which means there will most likely be cuts.

I. Carolina Fever--Tryouts for the fall tournament teams are September 14 (make sure to register on their website HERE This is a very competitive level of lacrosse.

II. Carolina Blast (part of fever)--is another fall ball league in Raleigh which is fairly competitive. Registration and more information are available HERE

III. Fall Ball in Chapel Hill-- 4 to 5 Sundays in September and October. A wide range of skills.  For more info please contact Robert Futch (rkfutch@yahoo.com)
