Welcome Back! I am looking forward to working with each of you throughout your 8th grade year. Your 8th grade year will your best one yet! It will be a time of personal and academic growth as you navigate a new team, new teachers and new expectations. I set high expectation for all students knowing, with the right support, each of you will attain success! I have three expectations for all students: 1. Be willing to take risks with your learning process, which means occasionally pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone 2. Respect others' right to learn 3. When you need extra support, please ask for it! And I am here to support you in any way I can. Science class will be a place of exploration, creative and critical thinking, and cooperative learning. My role as a teacher will be to facilitate diverse learning opportunities to ensure you reach your highest potential as a student. I know each of you possess unique qualities and instructional needs. I will do my best to meet your needs as we work together this year!
