·       Advanced Placement Students:  We will be having a make up bubbling session tomorrow May 1st during homeroom in 506U & 507U.  If you didn’t make the bubbling session last week, please go to the one on Wednesday.


·       Are you looking for an international trip that will give you an experience that is unmatched?  Consider coming to the interest meeting for a service trip to Ghana, Africa. This trip is district approved and goes during your fall break.  Schools such as Castle View, Mountain Vista, Rock Canyon and Regis have been involved in previous trips and we are now looking to share this experience with Chaparral!  You will be working with an organization that rescues children from slavery and another organization that supports the Ghanaian people of rural villages.  If you have a big heart and love adventures, this trip is for you!  Come to our interest meeting to learn more.  We will have a presentation for this trip in 504U this Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. ·       Hey Chap! Yearbook’s are finally here! Come get yours on May 6th after school In the commons. There’ll be Kona Ice! Don’t miss out on this annual tradition! If you haven’t bought yours yet, don’t worry they are still selling them at the finance office, but they will sell out fast


·       Did you go to Pine Grove? Do you not have time to read anymore since you’re so busy? Do you have too many books on your bookshelf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please donate any and all books you have lying around to the boxes in the CHS library to support Pine Grove’s waste reduction program.


·       What can you buy for one dollar, other than chips or four quarters? Why a book from Interact Club’s book sale in the library, of course! You can buy a book this week in the library before or after school and both lunches for just one dollar! What a steal! See you in the library.


·       Hey Chap Family! Tomorrow during homeroom all Sources of Strength members make sure to make your way down to the commons for fun activities and food!


·       Field day has officially changed dates. Come outside the commons during lunch this Friday for fun games and the chance to pie an administrator. No teams needed. Grab some friends and have fun!


·       Students:  Next week is Senior Finals week.  We will be having 4 block days on Monday through Thursday.  Monday is a blue day with homeroom, periods 2, 4, & 6.  There is no late start and homeroom will start at 7:35 am.
