Art/Graphics Show:  First week in July Most  students and families will want to attend this event to see the work presented from this years candidates. Students are expected to be involved in setting up the work and to help run the exhibition in the evenings.
Provisional Exams and deadlines for Art and Graphics 2015-16.

A2:

Unit 3 deadline:  December 2015 Wednesday 16th  50% of the overall grade. 

Controlled test start(50%): February 1st. If the students are not in a lesson on that day they should collect a paper from their teacher at lunchtime.

Controlled test Dates: 3x5 hour days. Work during lesson hours. Friday 22th of April, Wednesday the 27h of April, Thursday the 28th of April. All preparation work and final outcomes must be submitted at the close of the last day.    

AS:

Unit 1 deadline:  December 2015 Tuesday 16th 50% of the overall grade. 

Controlled test start(50%): February 1st. If the students are not in a lesson on that day they should collect a paper from their teacher at lunchtime.

Controlled test Dates: Friday 24th of April, 5 Hours to produce some development work. The Final submission date is  Wednesday the 29TH 12:30pm.


GCSE:

Coursework deadlineDecember 2015, Monday 14th,  60% of the overall grade.

 Exam start (40%): The exam paper ('Externally set Task' as it is formally called) is released on 1st January and is available to be picked up from the department on the first teaching day of the new year and will be online from the 2nd of January on the GCSE page. Students will receive further guidance in their first lesson. 

Exam Dates:  Wednesday 27th of April and Thursday the 28th of April 2016. 5 hours per day during normal lesson times. At the end of this time all preparation and practical work has to be submitted for grading.
