Welcome to my home page. This page has been designed to give general information that applies to all my classes. 

A little about me...
I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and I am a graduate of the University of Arizona. I have been teaching for approximately 20 years. The last fourteen years have been in the CFSD at Valley View Preschool and Orange Grove MS. I have been married to Greg La Chance for 30 years and I have a son named Warren. My father was born in San Luis Potosí, México and my Mother is from Nogales, Sonora.

A little about my classes...
I teach six sections of Spanish.  5 sections are devoted to Spanish 2a and one section is  for Spanish for Heritage Learners year 3.


8th Grade:

Spring 2018: The eighth-grade students will be visiting Catalina Foothills High School please make sure to turn your permission slip in promptly after receiving it.

2-22 & 23th-2018 :Rodeo Break

3-15th and 16th, 2018: Student Led Conferences (SLCs) March 15th and 16th. The students will be released from school at 11:00 am.

4-2rd thru 4-6th-2018: Spring Break

Coming: in March 2018. 

 The eighth-grade students will be taking the STAMP assessment, which is a tool that helps us assess and properly place our students in our World Language classes.  If you are interested in learning more about the STAMP assessment, please visit

We ask that you avoid scheduling appointments and family trips during this time so that your student is able to take the STAMP with his/her classmates. We appreciate your flexibility and support as our students take this important assessment.
