Welcome to my home page. This page has been designed to give general information that applies to all my classes. 

A little about me...
I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and I am a graduate of the University of Arizona. I have been teaching for approximately 20 years. The last fourteen years have been in the CFSD at Valley View Preschool and Orange Grove MS. I have been married to Greg La Chance for 30 years and I have a son named Warren. My father was born in San Luis Potosí, México and my Mother is from Nogales, Sonora.

A little about my classes...
I teach six sections of Spanish. 2 sections are devoted to Spanish 1B, 3 sections to Spanish 2a, and one section is  Spanish for Heritage learners year 3.


8th Grade:

Spring 2017: The eighth grade students will be visiting Catalina Foothills High School please make sure you have turned in your permission slip.

2-23&24th-17 :Rodeo Break

3-16th and 17th: Student Led Conferences (SLCs) March 16th and 17th. The students will be released from school at 11:00 am.

4-3rd thru 4-7th-17: Spring Break

Coming in  March 6--10th 2017. 

 The eighth grade students will be taking the STAMP assessment, which is a tool that helps us assess and properly place our students in our World Language classes.  If you are interested in learning more about the STAMP assessment, please visit:
