Our year long Zen Tangle/Doodle extension project
Due on: 3/27
Students who completed the project,on time, your grade will be posted in PIV. Those of students who have not completed the project, you will have until 5/11.
Students are currently working on their favorite storybook character. We just completed the construction and bisque process. Students will start to glaze their work by applying at least 3 coats of glaze. We are excited to see how they turn out … it's always a mystery!

Our 7th grade students are busy creating an armature for the monster sculptures. Currently, students are focusing on how their going to make their sculpture stand, by providing STRUCTURE and STABILITY. This can be a challenge, but a fun and exciting one.
Our Sculptures should be complete and ready to display on 2/3/2015 (Tuesday)

Students are analyzing and identifying the life and artworks by Spanish, Surrealist, painter Salvador Dali. Students will be defining key Surrealist terms applied into their painting compositions.
Students will be analyzing how geometric shapes create key facial features.
7th grade students need to research 6 symbols that represent who they are, then incorporate into a drawing composition.
EXAMPLE: Kayak, Peanut Butter, Yin Yang ...
Students can place all 6 visuals on one page then print.
Make sure to come in before school or after school if you don't have access to a printer.
