Happy New Year!
Our 7th grade students are busy creating an armature for the monster sculptures. Currently, students are focusing on how their going to make their sculpture stand, by providing STRUCTURE and STABILITY. This can be a challenge, but a fun and exciting one.
Our Sculptures should be complete and ready to display on 2/3/2015 (Tuesday)

Students are analyzing and identifying the life and artworks by Spanish, Surrealist, painter Salvador Dali. Students will be defining key Surrealist terms applied into their painting compositions.
Students will be analyzing how geometric shapes create key facial features.
7th grade students need to research 6 symbols that represent who they are, then incorporate into a drawing composition.
EXAMPLE: Kayak, Peanut Butter, Yin Yang ...
Students can place all 6 visuals on one page then print.
Make sure to come in before school or after school if you don't have access to a printer.
&th grade 2nd color pencil study is due on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2014, after class.
Student can analyze and identify objective and non-objective art. Students will apply a view finder to analyze various line, patterns and values.
Students can apply various color pencil by blending 2 or more colors to create another color with in their study, or center of interest within their view finder.
First color pencil study is due:
DUE: 9/3 END OF CLASS. If students need an extension, study will be due on 9/4.
Students will start their second study of non or objective art on 9/4.
