WELCOME BACK! ECMS Community Character Trait Words

posted Aug 16, 2017, 8:25 PM by EC Jennifer Burke

We are currently working on positive character trait words, and what it mean, or looks like to be a good citizen. These words are inspired by people demonstrating random acts of kinds within their community. A focus on what it means to be a global and local citizen doing simple tasks for total strangers ... not asking or assuming anything in return.

Students collaborate with peers to decide on a word that inspires them, Such as, encouragement, compassion, peace, and kindness and the list goes on ...

Once they've come up with a WORD, students draw a specific font and apply multi media of choice.

When complete, students words are cut out and place all over campus as a reminder of what it means to be a good citizen within the ECMS community.
