This site is to provide tutorials, resources, and avenues for feedback around the use of the Google products within the classroom. Having a Google Apps For Education (GAFE) domain for the district provides the ability to provide powerful tools to teachers and students while providing a safe and secure learning environment with only one single login.

Structure of Google Tools
All of the apps and tools fit under the Google umbrella, and that provides the opportunity for integration of the tools with each other in a variety of combinations. All tools can be accessed by the "black bar" at the top of your browser once you have logged into your Google account.

Google Calendar, Contactsand Gmail are pretty self explanatory and have been used within the district as a way to communicate and stay organized.

Within Google Drive, you can access Documents, Sheets (Spreadsheets), Forms, Slides (Presentation), Drawings, and Templates. These suite of tools are comparable to MS Office or Apple iWork.

Google+ is a way to communicate and collaborate with others. It has a social networking feel and is comparable to Facebook.

Google Sites is a tool that lets you create webpages in a "What You See Is What You Get" interface. You can create dynamic webpages without knowing any html code.

Chromebooks are laptops that run Google's operating system. They seamlessly operate with Google products and are optimized for tools and resources found on the Internet. Chrome Apps and Extensions can be installed to add additional functionality and possibilities.
