I am very excited to be teaching 1st grade this school year and looking forward to making this the best school year yet! I have so much to share and can't wait learn from each other.

A little bit about me...

I grew up and went to school in Cypress. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2005. I started teaching in 2007 as a long-term sub at Bane and finished that school year as the AMIP teacher. Since then, I have taught in fourth, third, and second grade.

Courses Taught: Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Math, Science, PE

I have a 21 year old son and 11 year old step-son. My husband is also a teacher in Cy-Fair. I enjoy both non-fiction materials as much as fiction. I have read so many new books and can't wait to share about it. I can't wait to hear about all the new and exciting things you did over the summer.
