Sixth grade students taking Mrs. Dawson's computer class have been working collaboratively to create Google Drawings that incorporate several required components, including avatars that they created using the iPad app Avatar Creator.

They practiced digital citizenship and Creative Commons by finding images designated as free to use, share, and modify.  They also cited their sources using Google Docs.

After publishing their drawings to the Web, students experimented with the Augmented Reality app, Aurasma, to bring them to life.  (Click here to view a TED Talk about Aurasma).

In order to view the secret messages (overlays) that students have added to their drawings (trigger images), please subscribe to the BRMS Rocks! channel on Aurasma.
