Congratulations, Mary!

Central High congratulates Mary Leonhard, LTC Liaison, for receiving the 2015 LTC Top Tech Award. This award is given to educators and community members who diligently work towards making Career and Technical Education a reality in our schools. Mary has been working hard for many years in creating and maintaining the Early College program at Central High School. She has been influential in assisting numerous students to attain college credits through the LTC-Central High partnership. This caliber of collaboration does not create or maintain itself; it takes thousands of hours of hard labor. Mary has built and run this well-oiled machine, and for this we are very grateful! Mary, through the Early College Model, shows students truly what it is like to become a Rising Phoenix. The Phoenix dies to its old self, and from its ashes, creates a new life, a life even more beautiful than the last, a life that looks towards the future, not dwelling on the past. Congratulations, Mary, on your award. You have truly earned it.
