Budget Goals

PTA works on behalf of children and families.  PTA funds should always be used the further the mission of PTA.

National PTA Mission Statement
The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

NC PTA Mission Statement
NCPTA is North Carolina’s oldest and largest volunteer organization advocating for the education, health, safety, and success of all children and youth while building strong families and communities.

Cedar Fork PTA funds are for the “extras” that are not provided by the school or school district budget.  These “extras” make our children’s learning experience more fulfilling and exciting.  Examples include cultural arts programs and club/instructional grants. The goal of the Cedar Fork PTA is to spend money on programs and items that will benefit the children directly.  We always strive to spend our funds in ways that will benefit all of our Cedar Fork students, across all areas of the curriculum and school.
