What are Grad Grams?

Grad Grams are like a greeting card! They are a personalized way to inspire, congratulate, and remember our CHS graduates. Grad Grams are available for purchase in two different formats.

1) Grad Grams (blank) – purchase these for just $1.00 each.

Include a personalized message, decorate if you wish, and return it by the designated deadline.

2) Designer Grad Grams (decorated) – purchase these for just $3.00 each.

Various designs already ‘scrapbooked’ with embellishments, all you do is add your personalized message, and return it by the designated deadline.

Grad Gram pages can be purchased at various times and locations throughout the school year and are collected a week prior to graduation. The individual pages are assembled into personalized booklets that are given to every graduating senior, along with their diploma, on Graduation day.

All of the money raised from the sale of Grad Grams goes toward scholarships for CHS graduates!

How much does a Grad Gram cost?

Grad Grams are always available for just $1.00 each! Designer Grad Grams (pre-decorated) are also available, while quantities last, for just $3.00 each!

How will my purchase of Grad Grams benefit CHS students?

Every year the sale of Grad Grams funds scholarships for graduating seniors! Grad Grams were first sold at CHS in 1999. Since then, over 200 individual scholarships have been awarded totaling almost $100,000!

The Cedarburg High School Scholarship Fund, sponsored by the CHS PTO, has awarded many $500 scholarships to CHS seniors for the past four consecutive years! With your ongoing support of Grad Grams, the PTO will be able to continue providing scholarships at this amazing annual level!

The pricing of Grad Grams is a real value that benefits the whole family. Our CHS graduates love the handmade pages and heartfelt messages that help create their personalized keepsake memory book!

Where can I get Grad Grams?

Grad Grams can be purchased at any time during the school year. They are available in the CHS main office, at various meetings & presentations, or from any Grad Gram Committee member. March through May, Grad Grams can also be purchased at Cedarburg Piggly Wiggly and all public & private Cedarburg schools. These blank Grad Gram pages do not expire!

Beginning March 1st, Designer Grad Grams (pre-decorated) can be purchased at the CHS main office . Sold on a first come, first served basis, while quantities last!

Who should give Grad Grams?

CHS graduates love to receive Grad Grams from family members (parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins). Many families purchase Grad Grams early in order to mail them to relatives, who must return them prior to our May deadline so they are sure to be included in the Grad Gram booklet. It’s a great way for family members and friends that live far away to be a part of your child’s graduation!

There is a sample Grad Gram letter and mailing instructions available on the PTO website that you can use as a guideline (Click here to see sample letter). TIP: Mail Grad Grams with winter/spring Holiday Greetings or with Graduation Announcements.

Teachers, coaches, scout leaders, youth group leaders, church members, employers, professionals, neighbors and friends also enjoy giving Grad Grams to graduates! High school students are encouraged to give Grad Grams to their senior friends, classmates, and teammates!

How can I personalize my Grad Grams?

You can simply write your own personal message directly on the Grad Gram and sign it. Use pens, markers, calligraphy, or a stencil. You can also attach a photo, stickers or any other decoration to dress up or individualize the Grad Gram for your senior.

You can print a message or quote onto a separate piece of paper and attach it to the Grad Gram, or simply print directly onto the Grad Gram. Be as creative as you desire, as long as it conveys your thoughts and wishes!

Where do I take my completed Grad Grams and when are they due?

Completed Grad Grams can be turned in to:

Grad Gram doghouse- CHS West Entrance (Door 17 where the circular drive is)

Grad Gram doghouse - CHS Main Entrance (Door 5 main office/vintage gym entrance)

Drabot's home (W70 N407 Fox Pointe Ave.) - look for the mailbox.

The final turn in deadline for all Grad Grams is May 19th! Grad Gram books are then lovingly assembled by hand, by parent volunteers. The time frame between the assembly of the books and distribution at graduation is very tight, so late submissions will NOT be included.

When do the graduates receive their Grad Grams?

On Graduation Day, immediately following the graduation ceremony. Graduating seniors receive their Grad Gram book along with their diploma.
