  • Federal Programs Federal Programs are a part of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) federal law which was passed in 2001.  The following  areas are currently a part of this federal law:   Title I :  Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged   Title II, Part A:  Teacher and Principal Training and Recruitment   Title II, Part D:  Enhancing Education through Technology   Title III:  English Language Learners   Title IV:  Safe and Drug-Free Schools   Title VI rural and Low-Income Schools   Title V:  Innovative Programs   Migrant Education   Homeless Children   Parent Involvement   The Cannon County School System has completed the application for 2016-2017 federal funds for the following programs: Title I (Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged) and Title II, Part A (Teacher and ...
