July Upcoming EventsFirst, I must apologise for not posting a reminder about the San Diego Scottish Games that happened the last weekend in June. We missed putting it on here and on our Facebook page. Soon, we will post a report of that event from the Commissioner. Now, upcoming in July is the Skagit Valley Highland Games at Edgewater Park in Mt. Vernon, WA. This happens on July 9th and 10th. FIRST WEEKEND IN JUNE - Events
There are two events this upcoming first weekend in June. The St. Andrew's Society of Modesto presents their annual Scottish Games and Gathering at Tuolumne River Regional Park in Modesto. This is a lovely setting under the trees by the river. Great food, great music, great athletics and fun for the whole family. The other event is the Bellingham Scottish Highland Games at Hovander Homestead Park in Whatcom County, Washington. It, too, offers great food, music, dancing, athletics and fun for everyone. It is a 2-day event, so no excuses!
Get your kilts on and get out there! Support your Clan society at these events.
