     DRESS CODE:  
The following is the dress code for the Fall Leadership Conference. The following guidelines have been developed:  proper dress for any occasion is a matter of exercising good judgment; thus, should a question concerning the dress code arise, refer to these definitions BEFORE making a decision. 

     MEN:  Dress slacks, dress shirt, dress shoes and socks, sweater and/or sport coat.  (Tie is recommended.)  A dress suit or DECA blazer is also appropriate.  
     Women: Dress slacks, dress, coordinated shirt/blouse, hosiery, dress shoes.  A dress suit or a DECA blazer is also appropriate.
     *Hats, shorts, and tank tops are inappropriate the entire conference *

FBLA-PBL Goals The FBLA Business Achievement Awards Program meets the following goals: 1) Develop competent, aggressive business leadership. 2) Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work. 3) Create more interest in and understanding of the American business enterprise. 4) Encourage members in the development of individual projects, which contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community. 5) Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism. 6) Encourage and practice efficient money management. 7) Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty. 8) Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals. 9) Facilitate the transition from school to work.


DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in High Schools and Colleges around the Globe.

To carry out this mission, the following is a statement of DECA's goals: 
1. To develop leadership abilities
2. To develop social and business etiquette
3. To develop an understanding of civic responsibility
4. To develop ethical behavior in personal and business relationships
5. To develop an understanding of the role of the free enterprise system in a global economy
6. To develop occupational competencies needed for careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship
