George Washington, Spy Master

I thought this book was pretty good. On a rank of one to ten I'd say it was a six or seven. It was very interesting, I found out that George Washington had false teeth, and that one of his false teeth is a cow tooth. Even though it was really good, I found it kind of hard to follow and sometimes had to reread a whole page because I forgot where my spot was or what had happened. Also it was sometimes a little hard to follow. It has so much good information that can be hard to remember. It was still one of the best social studies/reading books I've ever read. I was very happy I chose this book and would'nt regret choosing it if I could go back.

The last four chapters in the book were very good. I still can't believe that Isannah left with Lavinia and that  new all along that johnny was part of her family. I am also very  ad that Rab died.:( I was really sad. I'm also surprised that Cilla and Johnny never got married. I really thought they would. I thought from the first tie that the doctor asked to see Johnny's hand that he could fix it. I would be pretty mad if an old witch person messed up my hand and did'nt keep it flat like you were apparently supposed to. I was really happy that his hand could be it least a little bit more fixed and have a poseble thumb though.:) Would'nt that hurt to get your skin cut rigt thru your skin? I would like to ask my group what their favorite part was in the book.

I thought that this book is getting really interesting for what I've read so far. I think that the Boston Tea Party was really interesting. I thought it was kind of funny how Dove kept dumping tea into his pants. I thought that it was pretty crazy how they dumped all that tea in the sea. If I was there I'd jump into the water and drink some salt-water tea. It probably would'nt taste that good though.:) I think it's kind of freaky how they go into Johnny and Cilla go into the Lytes house and it's all dark. It would be kind of freaky to walk into a giant house when the windows are broken and it's all deserted and have to go around in the dark. I think it got a little boring at the end of the 4th chapter because all they did was talk. These chapters sort of reminded me of the movie and the book pride and pregiduce because it's set back in the older times. What did these four chaters remind you of?

I agree that Jonny was being really bossy to his family and friends. I also thought that it was disgusting who Jonny's thumb got burnt to hand. Why wouldn't any one take Jonny in for their appreintance? I know that he has a crippeled hand in all, but Jonny had all of the rights that the other men. I also thought that the book got better in Chapters 3-4. I haven't started reading my next chapters yet, but I think they will be good. I think that Jonny doesn't want to be related to Mr. Lyet anymore because Mr. Lyet got Jonny into court. I sure know that I would not want to be related to someone that put me in court. I think it would be really cool if Jonny got a job with Rab. I agree with you, I am also exicted to read more!

I think that this book is really good so far. It can be boring in some parts but I really think it was interesting like in chapter 4. I havent read on any yet but I am excited to. I think that it was really crule for Mr.Lyte to do that to Johnny. I am really interested in what that cup was about and if Johnny is really related to the Lyte's. I think that it's kinda weird(gross) that his thumb grew into his hand and I'm pretty mad that Dove did that. I guess that Johnny should'nt have been so prideful. It was really mean for himm to be bossing everyone around like that.:) I was really happy that he found Rab because I don't think that Johnny had ever met someone nice and kind like that and I think that Johnny might have kind of taken him as a role model and been a little more nice to people. I think that this book is very good and I'm excited to read more.:)
