Free CCRLS Library cards

Did you know that you do not have to pay for a library card? A lot of people don’t realize that.

If you live in the CCRLS district, but not within a city that has a library or other library district, you can still get free library service at any public library within the CCRLS district. Based on the library tax that everyone in the district pays, everyone can get a Basic library card at no cost. This will allow you to check out one book and place one hold at a time, and you have access to Library2Go eBooks and most online services.

Children and teens through high school get even more with the CARE card, up to 25 items at a time.

You may opt to purchase a full family membership for $60 annually which gives full privilege to the entire family, but this is not required in order to use the libraries.
