Welcome to Calhoun County High School!
It is indeed a pleasure to welcome you to Calhoun County High School, home of the mighty “Saints” and my alma mater.  We are proud of a tradition of excellence that has been maintained for the last 35 years.
Thanks to the support of all stakeholders, we are recognized statewide and nationally as a school that is committed to excellence in academics, athletics and extracurricular activities.
Our goal at Calhoun County High School is to support all students academically, socially, and emotionally.  We will make every effort so all students graduate successful and literate members of society and be able to succeed in the increasingly complex world in which they live and work.  The incredible faculty and staff at Calhoun County High School continue to encourage all students to set high goals for themselves and to reach for their dreams.
The partnership between families and our school is an important part of success.  Students benefit when parents and guardians are involved in their learning.  We should have consistent communication between home and school and regular opportunities for families to learn about what is happening at school and provide feedback to help us improve.
It is truly an honor to serve as principal of my alma mater.  I look forward to the challenge that has been set forth by so many great leaders before my leadership.
Barry Charley, Ed. S.

CCHS Gospel Choir

The Calhoun County High School Gospel Choir traveled to Washington, DC on September 21-22, 2017, to perform in the Gospel Extravaganza at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference.  The Calhoun County High School Gospel Choir is a newly-founded organization under the direction of Mr. Curtis M. Bates and Ms. Lois Jang. The choir consists of twenty students ranging from grades 9-12. They are a group of hard-working and determined students who are ready to inspire those listening and portray their love and admiration for God. The CCHS Gospel Choir is eager to see what this year holds for them as a group and as individuals.
