posted Dec 11, 2017, 12:42 PM by Luis Giron-Lopez

Your school counselors are happy to present you with an exciting challenge for the holiday break.  We would like for your families to try to complete a few activities WITHOUT your phones or other devices in front of you.  Print out this board and plan to participate in some fun activities as a family!  Cross out the things that you have completed as you finish them and then have a parent sign it and bring it back to school by January 5, 2018! The grade level with the most completed BWE boards will win 10 minutes of extra recess!

National Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 4th.

posted Sep 14, 2017, 7:28 PM by Luis Giron-Lopez

Parents and students are invited to meet school staff at Robious Landing Park at 8:30 a.m.  Administrators, teachers and even our Bluebird mascot will be there to meet students and walk to school with them. We will begin organizing at 8:30 a.m. and begin our walk at approximately 8:45 a.m. There will be signs located at the entrance of the park to show parents and students where to gather. Please do not drop off students without making contact with a school staff member.

Students are invited to wear their grade level spirit t-shirts so that we can make a colorful splash as we walk through the neighborhood on our way to school. This will be a fun day for everyone!

Parents may drop their students off at the park (after making contact with a staff member who is present) or are certainly invited to walk with us as we bring awareness to the benefits of walking or biking to school. Walking or biking to school is a great way to get more physical activity and spend time with friends.
