Volunteer Information

Woolridge Wildcats value volunteers!  There are numerous opportunities for volunteering at our school. Here are some of the ways you can help:

  • Classroom: Help your child's teacher by helping with classroom activities, reading groups, tutoring students, creating bulletin boards, etc.  If you would like to help out, but are unable to come during the school day, teachers often have materials that need to be cut out, colored, folded, stapled, etc. that can be completed at home.  Contact your child's teacher for more information.

  • Library: Our library can always use help with shelving books and running the check-out counter. Contact the librarian for more information.

  • Art: Our art room has various ways to get your hands dirty! Contact the art teacher for more information.

  • Cafeteria: Cafeteria volunteers assist students with getting their lunches, opening containers, dispensing utensils and napkins, etc.

  • PTA: Our PTA holds several events throughout the year that cannot happen wihout the help of volunteers!  Look for information about PTA events and volunteer opportunities in your child's backpack and online at the PTA website.

  • PLC Days: Contact the front office if interested in providing classroom coverage for teacher's participating in Professional Learning Community sessions.  Coverage is needed at various times during the school day.

If you don't see what you are looking for here, please feel free to contact our front office for information on other volunteer options that might be available.

Any volunteer MUST fill out the Volunteer registration below before entering the school to volunteer for any purpose. This includes being a chaperone for a field trip.
