Do you have a pair of shoes you don’t want any more? Send them to WES in support of a CCPS student’s Capstone Project, a shoe drive with a run/walk 5k on November 10, 2018. She is working with a non-profit organization Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls' mission is to "create sustainable jobs and provide relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.” The shoe drive will run until Mid-January, with the hope of collecting over 800 pairs of new, or gently used shoes to be donated to developing nations all across the world. There will be a box in the front foyer!

Box Tops For Education

posted Oct 14, 2018, 12:35 PM by Kristal Zink

Box Tops for Education

Its Box Top collection time! There is a bin in the lobby.   Please send in all that you have collected, cut, sorted and bagged by this Friday, 10/19.

Volunteer counters and expiration date checkers will be needed after 10/19.

How do I submit Box Tops?
1. Clip the box tops off a participating package. You & your family can work on fine motor skills making sure to cut on the dotted line of the box tops.
2. DO NOT send in the entire back of a cereal box, etc - the box top must be cut out from the label.
Check the expiration date. Expired box tops CAN NOT be used.
3. Place your box tops (& box tops only) in a baggie or envelope marked with your child’s teacher’s name ONLY. Do not put your child’s name on the bag.
If you have large amounts of box tops - please be kind & bundle in amounts of 50. Please mark the outside of the baggie with the number 50. If there are less than 50, please also just mark with the number in the bag.
4. Place the envelop or baggie in the Box Tops collection bin in the lobby or have your child bring them to their teacher by Friday, OCTOBER 19, 2018.

Thank you for helping Woolridge Elementary!
