Winterpock Weekly Update - 2/25/18

posted Feb 25, 2018, 3:31 PM by Laura Prymak
Hi Winterpock Families! Friday was SO MUCH FUN! I have never been duct taped to the wall before! The kindergartners were adorable when they saw me on the car loop after school! They were so excited to see that I got off of the wall! They asked about a million questions…”How did you get down? Who took you off? Where is the duct tape now?” Too cute! See below for our top readers in each class and a link for where you can go to see it in action! Follow me on Twitter (@WPESPrincipal) to see photos highlighting our #WPESwolves throughout the week! We look forward to a fantastic week twenty-four of school with your children!

*Jump Rope for Heart: Way to go, Wolfpack! Our goal was to raise $20,000! So far, we have raised $27,991.77! Incredible! We are proud to support the American Heart Association! Thank you again for your generosity!

*Winterpock Reading Challenge: Our final total was 1,643,136 minutes read in 100 school days! I am definitely a proud principal! Micro-enterprises are small businesses in developing nations. Let’s support the CHS band programs by cleaning out our closets and donating our gently worn, used, and new shoes. This shoe drive fundraiser will continue until March 2nd. Their goal is to collect 2500 pairs of shoes! They greatly appreciate being able to put a collection box at Winterpock! Go Titans!
