We had a GREAT day at Winterpock! A few updates...

Hi Winterpock Families! We had a GREAT day today and absolutely loved having your children back at school! Mrs. Bare, Mrs. Malcolm, and I pretty much logged our 10,000 steps prior to dismissal! We really enjoyed visiting each classroom! During my classroom visits today, you could see me doing the "Cat Party Dance" during a brain break with Ms. Todd's first graders or participating in a "Get to Know You" activity with a few third graders in Mrs. Starling's classroom. We had so much fun!

Just a note... Breakfast IS being served in the cafeteria this week!

Again, we had an AMAZING first day of school! ...and then we had dismissal! Thank you so much for your patience as we loaded 17 buses, 15+ day care vans, and many cars! We tried something new with our day care vans this afternoon...and it just did not work. Tomorrow, we will try something different!

During dismissal, day care vans will park in the main parking lot in the parking spaces down the side of the lot that face the woods. Their drivers will come to the cafeteria to account for their students and staff will assist with walking students down the sidewalk back to their vans. Again, day care vans will no longer be in the parent pick up car loop during dismissal. This will allow us to load car riders quicker in the afternoon! If you are a parent of an "Everyday Car Rider," please remember to put your number on your dashboard. We hope to make this a smoother process for everyone tomorrow! Thanks again for your patience and support as we find the right solution!

Have a wonderful evening!
