World Languages

The World Language Department consists of five languages: French, German, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish. Currently, we offer levels 1 through five in German, Latin, and Japanese. As Spanish and French are taught in the middle schools, we offer levels 1-AP for these languages. Each language focuses on the four basic skills of communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each language also offers a club opportunity where students can expand their cultural knowledge outside the classroom. All clubs are sponsored by a language teacher and meeting dates and times are determined by the sponsor, once club officers have been elected.
