World Languages

In Spanish, French, and Latin we expose students to not only vocabulary and grammar, but to culture as well. In Spanish and French, students use the four skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking in the target language. Latin students focus on reading, writing and translation skills. Students gain an appreciation of other cultures through contrasts and comparisons with their own cultural norms and become confident using the target language within and outside of the classroom setting.
