The Exceptional Education Department at Robious Elementary School strives to give each child equal access to the general education curriculum. A continuum of services is provided to address each child’s identified needs in the Least Restrictive Environment. Parents, students, special education teachers, and general education teachers collaborate to create a nurturing environment with research-based instruction to address learning differences and challenges. Special education procedures include referral, evaluation and eligibility determination that culminate in development of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) with staff and parent collaboration.
