Choose to Include Week 2/25/2019-3/1/2019

Get ready Midlo because Choose to Include Week is almost here! Next week, we're celebrating diversity and inclusion at our school while raising money to support the Choose to Include Campaign! On Monday, be sure to deck out in your favorite Midlo Middle Spirit wear for Midlo Monday! We'll warm things up on Tuesday with tropical Tuesday so be sure to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or other tropical attire! We can't wait to WHITE OUT with you all for our Unified Basketball game on Wednesday right after school in the main gym! Wear as much white as you can and come out to support both unified teams! Tickets will be $1 and all funds raised will support the Choose to Include Campaign. Thursday we're throwing it back with tie-dye so be sure to wear your favorite shirt, socks, or other tie-dye apparel. We're finishing off spirit week with Dare to Be Different Friday! Wear your favorite wacky tacky outfit or your craziest socks and encourage others to be unique! We can't wait to celebrate Choose to Include Spirit Week with you! We'll see you all on MIDLO MONDAY!

Track Tryouts

All boys interested in trying out for the track & field team should report to the track after school today. Any girls who missed a day of tryouts this week should also report to the track after school today, or on Monday, February 25th. If you have any questions please see Coach Mattingly, Coach Smith, Coach Powell, or Coach Collins.

Unified Basketball v Providence 2/20/2019 Results

The Unified Basketball team traveled to Tomahawk Creek yesterday to take on the Providence Rams in our first game of the season! Our team played hard and shared the ball well. Kassidy Tanner, Griffin Voigt, George Meyer, Nate Holloway, and Jane Heffron all scored points for the team! Tate Swecker, Joseph Weinstein, Jenelle O'Neill, Walker Lloyd, Maxx Lawton, and Maggie Dommisse all did an amazing job distributing the ball to our teammates. At the end of regulation, we were TIED 24 - 24 before heading into overtime. Providence came out on top after the two minutes expired to win 28 - 24. Our next game will be AT HOME next week on Wednesday, February 27! Tickets will be $1 and we hope to see you all there!

Cheerleader Competition 02/22/2019

Come show your support for the Midlo Cheerleaders as they compete in the county competition this Friday at Matoaca East Middle School.  The county cheer competition will start at 6:30pm at Matoaca East Middle School and Midlo is the first team to compete so you don't want to be late.  Admission is $1 for students and $5 for adults.  Go Midlo! 

Boys Track Tryouts Will Begin on 2/22/2019

Boys Track & Field tryouts are CANCELED for today. Boys tryouts will now be held Friday the 22nd, and Monday the 25th.  Day 2 tryouts for Girls will still be held Thursday as planned.  Again, Track & Field tryouts are CANCELED for today. Please ride the bus home. See Coach Mattingly, Coach Smith, Coach Powell, or Coach Collins if you have any questions.

Track Tryouts

All girls interested in trying out for the track & field team should meet at the track right after school today. Please make sure you have a ride picking you up no later than 3:45pm. You will not be able to try out if you do not have a completed physical and concussion form on file. 

Additionally, please follow the schedule as posted on the track tryout flyer. If weather cancels school, we will continue with the planned tryout as originally listed for that day. 

Yearlong Drama Informational Meeting for 7th grade Students

Monacan High School JB Baseball Tryouts

Attention to all boys in the Monacan High School district interested in trying out for the JV baseball team!! The first day of tryouts will be held on Monday, February 18th from 2:15 to 3:45 at RBA South. You will be notified about the schedule for the remainder of tryouts on Monday. Again, Monacan baseball tryouts are at RBA South on Monday from 2:15 to 3:45!
