On this day in 1897, “Stars and Stripes Forever” by John Phillip Sousa is performed for the first time in Philadelphia.  It has for more than a century captured the spirit of American patriotism perhaps better than any other composition. The “Stars and Stripes Forever” became America’s national march in 1987.  How will you contribute to history? Make it a great day… or not. The choice is yours.

There is no MM this week.

Summer Sign Ups for Behind the Wheel will be May 22 through the 24th. For more information, see Ms. Santmyer or go to bit.ly/BTWSummer.
