February 13, 2018

On this day in 1970, for the first time in the 178-year history of the New York Stock Exchange, a black man joined the trading community on the exchange floor.  Joseph L.Searles III became the first black floor member and floor broker in the New York Stock Exchange. He worked as a floor partner in the firm of Neburger, Loeb and Company.  How will you contribute to history?  Make it a great day… or not.  The choice is yours.
