Copy of Middle School Presentations: HS Opportunities in CCPS

This week our seventh- and eighth-grade students attended an assembly to learn about the variety of educational opportunities available to Chesterfield County high school students. Students were introduced to the 12 Specialty Centers housed in our high schools, the two Chesterfield Career and Technical Centers located on Hull Street and Courthouse Road, and the three regional high schools in the area. We encourage you and your student(s) to explore these academic and career-related opportunities as part of their educational planning process. For more information, please visit these websites:

Open Houses for these opportunities begin October 1. Please attend to learn more about the programs of interest and meet representatives from the schools. Visit Specialty Center Open Houses 2019 LINK for Open House dates. All of the programs require applications and have different deadlines, so please review the school websites of each school that may be of interest to your student. Feel free to contact your student’s school counselor at 804-674-1385 for additional information or questions.
