A make-up examination due to absence because of illness will be considered only if the student's parent contacts an administrator personally  on or before the day of the missed exam. For either of these situations, the student must subsequently make arrangements with the individual teacher to set the date for the make-up exam to be completed no later than Friday, January 17, 2020. The time for the make-up exam is at the discretion of the individual teacher.

SENIOR EXEMPTIONS: Seniors will be granted exemptions from examinations provided that the following requirements are met:

1. The student shall have earned an A or B for the semester in the course in which the exemption is granted.

2. The student shall not have been absent from or tardy to first period more than five (5) times or absent from or tardy to other classes more than three (3) times during the semester.

3. Days assigned to ISD, OSS and days absent due to college visits (seniors are allowed one college visit without penalty) are to be counted in the total to determine eligibility for exemption. The only absences not counted are class related field trips, assemblies, etc.

4. Extenuating circumstances may be appealed to the principal no later than 3:00 PM on Monday, December 9, 2019 on the exam exemption appeal form. Exam exemption appeal forms may be picked up in the main office.

5. Seniors are expected to be in school only during periods for which they have required exams. Seniors who are exempt and have only one exam during the day must leave or arrive during the break.
