Volunteer Information

Please Volunteer! We are so fortunate to have numerous parents who volunteer for us in many different roles.  If you plan to be a field trip chaperone, classroom helper, or volunteer for our school in other ways this year, please fill out the online Chesterfield County Public Schools volunteer application.  To access this form, please click here. Involved parents are critical to a school’s success!

CCPS Volunteer Information - includes application and handbook

Here are some of the ways you can help...

Help your child's teacher by helping with classroom activities, reading group, tutoring students, creating bulletin boards, etc. If you would like to help out, but are unable to come during the school day, teachers often have materials that need to be cut out, colored, folded, stapled, etc. that can be completed at home. Contact your child's teacher for more information.

Library: There are many ways to volunteer in the library. You can help us in the library media center by shelving books, organizing displays, helping with Book Fairs, and/or helping students. Volunteering in the library is a fun way to be involved in your child's school as well! Volunteers are needed before and during school hours. Please give us a call at 743-3655 or e-mail if you are interested in learning more. E-mail: Julie_Reedy@ccpsnet.net

Art: Our art room has various ways to get your hands dirty! Contact the art teacher for more information.

Cafeteria: Cafeteria volunteers assist students with getting their lunches, opening containers, dispensing utensils and napkins, etc. Especially in the month of September.

PTO: Our PTO holds several events throughout the year that cannot happen wihout the help of volunteers! Look for information about PTO events and volunteer opportunities in your child's backpack.

If you don't see what you are looking for here, please feel free to contact our front office for information on other volunteer options that might be available.
