Kindergarten student in the classroom

Kindergarten provides an exciting time that involves questioning, exploration, and hands on experiences!  Students will enter Kindergarten knowing some of the letters and leave as beginning readers.  They will enter counting their numbers and will leave seeing number combination and patterns.  Our Thanksgiving and Lifecycle Units help us to connect information we have learned from all subjects into activities that build knowledge and create memories.  We focus on the positive ways to support and interact with each other through team meetings and group activities. The more we share with each other - the more we learn from each other.  They will become more independent and confident as we establish good routines and problem solving strategies to begin their school experience.
