Technology Education

Technology Education class


Technology Education is a creative, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) based, hands-on class. Students work through the engineering design process to solve both individual and team design challenges. Each challenge requires student to meet specific criteria while working within set limits. Students may work through challenges in tower construction, balloon powered vehicles, rockets, clocks, pencil holders, rubber band airplane, CO2 Car, boats, mousetrap vehicles, pen holder or dispensers.  Other projects include solar energy, wind energy, solar cars, Maglev cars, SeaPerch underwater robotics, hydraulics, 3-D printer, Makey Makey, Snap Junior Circuits, CO2 cars, Auto CAD 123 Design, Rube Goldberg Design, and EV3 Lego's.
