Keyboarding

Overview:


Students are introduced to the world of business using the computer as a problem-solving tool.  Emphasis is placed on using basic touch keyboarding skills to complete a variety of project incorporating word processing, database, presentation, and spreadsheet software.  Basic internet safety and computer maintenance issues are important components of this course.

Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

Highlights:


6th Grade - One Nine Week (Exploratory)

7th Grade - Semester

8th Grade - One Year with High School Credit.  Optional:  MOUS Certification



Requirements:


6th Grade - $5.00 Fee

7th Grade - $10.00 Fee

8th Grade - $15.00 Fee


Fee include:  Computer Paper, Printer Cartridges, Folders, Pencils
