What does a  professional school counselor do?

 

Guidance and counseling programs, activities and services are offered to support all students in achieving academic success.  Counselors work with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to achieve this goal.  Counseling and guidance services are provided for all students through individual, small group and classroom sessions.  A developmental guidance service is multi-disciplinary, requiring collaboration and teamwork.
