Evergreen's Exceptional Education Program

Populations served: Students who are found eligible following the Special Education Evaluation process. Evergreen serves a wide range of students including those identified with Developmental Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Emotional Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, Speech/Language Impairment, Orthopedic Impairment, Hearing, Vision, and Other Health Impairment.


Services:  Based on the evaluations completed and the learning needs of the student as assessed by the Individual Education Plan committee, a continuum of services is provided.  These may include but are not restricted to: small group multisensory training; small group academic instruction, small group instruction for reinforcement of concepts introduced within the general education setting; collaborative academic instruction, collaborative social skills instruction, behavior modification and/or consultation.
