Are you a CCPS teacher who wants to expand your knowledge, try new teaching styles, and evolve your instructional practice during the 2016-17 school year? If this sounds like you, the Instructional Technology Department is excited to announce the L.I.T.E. (
Leaders in Instructional Technology Exploration) cohorts for teachers with the purpose of improving participants’ skills needed to effectively combine 21st Century learning and the integration of technology into curriculum, teaching, and student engagement. During the pilot year, the cohort will be limited to select schools. Please check with your Integrator for additional information.

The cohort will kick off with a bang this summer! You will be given the chance to meet, collaborate, and begin your exploration with other cohort participants in a fun and exciting 3 hour workshop. In addition, you will receive coaching, support, and resources throughout the school year as you engage in a personal mission. Join with fellow cohort teachers to improve instruction and engagement. You have the opportunity to innovate, explore, and be a part of the inaugural L.I.T.E. Cohort during the 2016-2017 school year. Don’t delay! Apply Today!

Brenda Price
A product of Chesterfield County Public schools, Brenda Price has been an educator for CCPS for over 35 years with 24 years experience in the elementary classroom. She started using computers with her first graders on an Apple lle and 5 ¼ floppy disks. Brenda enjoys seeing the progression in technology and the benefits it affords teachers and students alike.
