New Recycling Program at EDMS!

posted Oct 3, 2018, 3:50 AM by Kimberly Lambert   [ updated Oct 3, 2018, 3:51 AM ]

Elizabeth Davis Middle School is participating in a new recycling program.  It’s called Crayola ColorCycle – an amazing new program devised to turn used markers into energy!

The markers will be sent to a facility where they will be converted into clean fuel.  This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more!

As the end of the year approaches please help us recycle by placing any unwanted makers from your locker, pencil pouch, and home into the labeled boxes in each locker pod.  Any type of markers may be recycled; non-Crayola brands, highlighters, dry erase, sharpies etc.

Remember, don’t throw out that used marker—ColorCycle it!
