Students warm up before a performance

As a 6th grader, your child has an opportunity to study traditional string instruments:  violin, viola, cello or bass. The students participate in several school concerts throughout the year as well as various performances in the community. The 7th and 8th grade students always look forward to our big event, which is competing at the Busch Gardens Musicale Festival every spring. In addition to playing and learning the standard repertoire we also learn the Fiddlin', bluegrass music which is becoming popular all over the country.
