Exceptional Education


Ecoff offers assistance and support for students who may be identified as a student with a disability in the following areas: Learning Disabled (LD), Emotional Disabled (ED), Other Health Impaired (OHI), Autism (AUT), Intellectually Disabled (MiID and MoID), Developmentally Delayed (DD), Speech and Language Impaired (SLI), Hearing Impaired (HI), or Vision Impaired (VI). All Exceptional Education staff is considered highly qualified.

The Exceptional Education staff has two teachers for LD, one teacher for ED, one teacher for MiID, one teacher for MoID and two (1 full time and 1 part time) Speech/Language Pathologists serving the identified Exceptional Education population. Our students who are identified with Autism can be served by any of these areas. As well, Ecoff has one teacher for Early Childhood Special Education. Students can be served in either a collaborative classroom, small group in the Exceptional Education classrooms, as well as in a self-contained classroom. Students may also receive services through Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy. A continuum of services are offered to meet students’ individual needs.
