Student Ambassadors

Each 2nd-5th grade classroom has 2 Student Ambassadors.  Their job is to welcome new students to their classroom, introduce them to the staff, and help them get to know the school!  Student Ambassadors must be recommended by a classroom teacher or other staff member.  They are also required to complete an application for the position.  Final selections are made by administration.

Student Ambassadors are welcoming, friendly, and helpful to new students in their classrooms throughout the entire school year.  The staff coordinator meets with the Student Ambassadors once a month from October until June.  During the meetings, they discuss ways to be helpful, process their experiences with their new student peers, and plan special activities for new students.
