Life Skills Soccer League

Purpose of the Program: The purpose of the Life Skills Soccer Program is to offer a high quality and affordable soccer program while using soccer as a tool for teaching important life skills that enable children to be successful in school, sports and life. All students participating in the program will receive a Life Skills Players Workbook.

Positive Character Strengths: One unique aspect of the program is the involvement of soldiers from Charlie Company at Ft. Lee. Each Saturday, a group of soldiers will assist with setting up the soccer goals and fields and will help coach teams. The soldiers embody the positive character strengths that we teach in the program such as respect, responsibility, cooperation, focus, effort, determination, and self-control.

Practice/Game Times:

Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 5:15, starting September 17th and continuing through November 10th. Games will be played at Bensley Park every Saturday for the eight weeks of the season with the following schedule:

Grades K-1: 10:00
Grades 2-3 11:00
Grades 4-5 12:00
