Cultural Arts Summer Camp

This summer CCPS will hold its first ever Cultural Arts Camp! Imagine an entire school day filled with all of your child’s favorite resource classes! Learning experiences will be immersive. The extra time and resources will lead to many amazing outcomes students will never forget. Each session meets Monday through Thursday from 8:30- 3:30 for two weeks. Every day, students will rotate through classes in the Visual Arts, Music, PE, STEAM, and World Languages! We’ll have two sessions. One from July 9th -19th at Woolridge Elementary and another from July 23rd- August 3rd at Elizabeth Scott Elementary. Breakfast and lunch will also be available each day.  The cost is $150.00 for both weeks, more information can be found on the announcement page of our school website.

Puritan Cleaners 100K Meals Team Visits A.M. Davis

Thank you all for supporting our NEHS 100k Food Drive! The Puritan Cleaners 100k van came out to our school last week to gather the food and channel 8 news sent a camera crew to record our NEHS students filling up the van. It was awesome to see the students do this community service project to help others in need.

Los niños pequeños, de 3 a 4 años de edad tienen recursos educativos disponibles en las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Chesterfield. CCPS ofrece prejardín de infantes o prekínder en varias escuelas primarias para proporcionar habilidades de preparación escolar a los niños elegibles con mayores necesidades. Los niños que cumplan cuatro años para la fecha del 30 de septiembre y que vivan en la zona de asistencia de la escuela pueden solicitar el prejardín de infantes. Pre-K Registration Information [English]

Young children, ages 3-4 have educational resources available to them in Chesterfield County Public Schools. CCPS offers pre-kindergarten, or “pre-k” at several elementary schools to provide school readiness skills to eligible children with the greatest need. Children who will be four years old by the calendar date of Sept. 30 and who live in the school’s attendance zone may apply for prekindergarten. There are no exceptions to age and residency requirements. It is a great way to start your little ones on the right path to education. This is an interview with CCPS Family and Community Engagement Support Specialist Mayra Alvarez explaining pre-k options in Chesterfield.
