FREE ROUTINE IMMUNIZATIONS FOR YOUR CHILD 
HELD AT:

Immunization Clinics are held:
 
2nd & 4th Mondays ---4-6pm
Tuesdays ---9-11am & 1-4pm
Wednesdays ---9-11am & 1-4pm
Thursdays ---1-4pm
No clinics held on Monday or Thursday mornings, all day on Fridays or holidays.
Adults must accompany children younger than 18 years of age. 
No appointment necessary but preferred, call 768-7454 
Most vaccines are free. 
Some selected vaccines have charges. For more info call 768-7454
 

Medication Policies:

Parents must bring clearly marked prescriptions to school where they will be administered as prescribed during the school day. Non-prescription medicine such as Tylenol, antacids and cough drops may also be brought to the clinic clearly marked with your child's name and permission to administer as needed.

Students are NOT allowed to transport medication to and from school.

The Public Health School Nurses are employed by Chesterfield County Health Department. We work cooperatively with Chesterfield County Public Schools to promote optimum health for the school community. 

  • Review of health records to identify students with health needs
  • Health care plans when needed for students w/ health problems such as asthma, allergies, diabetes, and seizures
  • Identification and follow-up of health problems affecting children's learning
  • Individualized health education to students, parents, and school personnel
  • Review of student's immunization records
  • School-based immunization clinics 
  • Investigation and follow-up of communicable diseases 
  • Consultation and follow-up to special education departments 
  • Consultation and resources to the school clinic assistant 
  • Emergency First Aid 
  • Health Screenings ( hearing, vision, height, weight), health education classes 
  • Promotion of wellness activities for faculty and staff
  • Representation on committees within the school
