Bullying Prevention

Bullying is addressed a variety of ways at Curtis Elementary. Our school counselors, Miss "B" and Ms. Robinson, work with the teachers and administrators to educate students about what bullying is, how to prevent bullying, and what to do if a child is bullied or sees someone else bullying.

Bullying is defined as aggressive behavior that is habitual and involves an imbalance of power. Bullying can be physical, social, or emotional.

Any student who feels bullied or sees another student being bullied should report this behavior to an adult so situation can be taken care of as soon as possible.

Each year, select bus routes participate in the "Peaceful School Bus" program.
