Ms. Susan Pereira

I am beyond excited to start the 2017-18 school year here at Curtis Elementary, the BEST school in Chesterfield County. This will be my sixth year as Principal, after serving one year here as Assistant Principal. This will be the start of my 23rd year in public education, and I can't think of a better place to be! We are going to do amazing things this year. We are excited to have many new staff members,  new technology, and new learning opportunities as we implement a Social Emotional curriculum in many classrooms.
As we strive for excellence, we will again focus on working as a TEAM this year.

T- Treat everyone with respect.
E- Everyone follows directions.
A- Accept responsibility.
M- Make good choices.

This is a great place to be. I believe that strong community-school relationships are essential to high academic achievement. Your support is greatly appreciated, and remember--- IT'S GREAT TO BE A KOALA!
